Wrapping things up.

Well, today begins my last week of employment until I move to Korea and I think things are finally starting to sink in.  Last week I had my first teary eyed goodbyes and I have a feeling that things are only going to get worse as I get closer to leaving Milwaukee and then Minnesota.  Leaving does have its benefits though...take this picture for example:

That is me...with my feet up, on my boss's desk, sitting in his new chair, before he ever got the chance to do so.  If my employment with the Bar Association was not ending on Friday I would have kept the adventures with his new chair limited to this:

However, hoping that he will not see the picture of my feet on his desk until my employment is over and, even if he does, knowing that he has a great sense of humor, I am pretty confident that my actions will receive nothing but laughter...right, Jim?!

Anyhow, I also made a little more progress on my bucket list and closed Wolski's! I got the bumper sticker and everything, now I feel like I am actually a resident of Milwaukee and not just someone taking up space on the Eastside.

I believe that is all, I have to go work now...I am currently in Madison recruiting new members for the MBA, but I got here a little early and had some time to kill, I wanted to look busy and professional so I pulled out my lap top and began typing furiously as if I had a zillion really important things to do.

Save the date!

June 19th.
CRAZY!
I will be on a Korea bound plane on June 19th, it still hasn't sunk in...though I am sure that will change pretty soon.
This week is starts my second to last week at the MBA, it's crazy to think that I have been out of school and working there for a year.  It is going to be a little sad leaving there...but only a little, I don't want my coworkers to think I like them or something...
Also, I have been accomplishing some bucket list items!  Well, just one more.  I got my tattoo! I'll post a picture and allow you to figure out the details...

27 days until I move to MN. 33 days until Erin's wedding. 34 days until I leave.

Learning the lingo.

After several weeks of only looking at my learn to read and speak Korean book I have finally decided to open it, and it really doesn't seem too difficult! Well, sort of.  The alphabet, Hangul, is probably going to be pretty easy to get down, so I am hoping to know it within the next few weeks.  Learning to actually speak the language, I have been told, is a bit more difficult. I am hoping to know a few key phrases such as: bathroom, beer, and I don't speak the language, before I head over there...we'll see how that works out.

holy. moly.

Freaking out a little bit...just a little. My visa was approved and now I am sending flight info. I mean, I know this is really happening, but now it is really really happening.

Holy. Moly.
